5 Tips For A Successful Hookup
71I have noticed lately that guys don't know how to hook up anymore. I mean, when did mutual satisfaction leave the equation and thoughtless self gratification become the norm? For instance, the other night I went over to a guys house, my first red flag should have been the fact that his father was sleeping in the other room. I was in and was out the door within ten minutes. He barely even touched me, we said maybe four words to each other, and it was totally one sided. I should have I know I should have been more assertive, but, being as shocked as I was I just left, my mind in a fog, and totally unsatisfied. I vowed to write some tips so that no one else is cursed with that situation.
Five tips for a successful hook up:
1. Be Honest: have a recent picture, don't tell them you are 22 years old with a 29" waist unless of course you are 22 years old and have a 29" waist.
2. Be clean: I know this sounds simple but you would be surprised to know how many guys don't follow basic hygiene. At a minimum pop a breath mint and run a rag over your nasty bits. Your partner will thank you.
3. Have room to play: If you have a roommate, or live with your parents make sure there is adequate space to let out your inner freak.
4. Remember that this is a small community and an unsatisfied lover is your worst enemy: they will tell their friends about their bad experience and may influence them that you aren't worth their time no matter how hot you think you are.
5. Last more that ten seconds: If you spent the last two hours pleasuring yourself to a hook-up site's profiles, finish yourself off and clean up before you engage with activities with someone else. It will help clear your mind, and allow you to concentrate on mutual satisfaction.
These simple tips can be the difference between a one time hook up and a steady friend with benefits.
